Amina Rahman serves as the Marketing Communications Specialist at The Family and Youth Institute. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Studio Art.

She has served the DMV Muslim community for over five years. As a graphic designer, she has volunteered for The Center for Muslim Life at Maryland. In addition, she has served as The Marketing Chair of DC MIST for over three years.

Amina is passionate about bringing a creative perspective to efforts in uplifting the American Muslim community. She aspires to provide youth with the tools to navigate the challenges they’ll face as Muslim Americans and help develop their confidence as leaders of tomorrow.
