Minha Ghani

Minha Ghani is a research assistant with The Family and Youth Institute. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Minha is passionate about mentorship, youth development, and creating a stronger community.

Her prior experience includes co-developing and conducting research on Muslim behaviors towards substance use and seeking therapy with Safa Institute, an organization to help Muslim Americans gain access to culturally competent therapists.

Minha is currently working on The FYI’s iBelong project aiming to create a sense of belonging for youth in American Mosques. Through working with The FYI Minha hopes to create a positive impact on Muslim communities through research.
