Sana Khan is the Operations Officer at The Family and Youth Institute.

Sana has a BA in Political Science and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also has a Masters in Public Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her interest in public administration is fueled by the opportunity to break through in a field that has minimal participation by the Muslim community.  Sana relocated to Michigan in 2013 and began working at Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote-Michigan, serving as a Community Organizer and later as the Program Director from 2013-2017. In this role, she worked to increase civic participation and civic education in the APA community in Southeast Michigan. As a mother, Sana is excited to work for an organization that is committed to family values and hopes to help The FYI continue to grow and develop as a resource for the Muslim community.
